Sugandha Sukrutaraj, founder of AMBA and author of its pan India copyrighted curriculum, is an Ashoka Fellow with 19 years of experience in developing a sustainable livelihood solution for adults with moderate to severe intellectual disability, with a focus on visual data entry and peer training.

Tanmoy Chakrabarty

Advisory and Consulting Services for Small and Medium Corporates

Tanmoy Chakrabarty has over 42 years of corporate experience, having started his career in 1981. He served as the Group Government Affairs Officer at Tata Sons, handling government relations and engagements, and is known for his advisory and consulting services for small and medium corporates.

Mr. Tanmoy Chakrabarty began his corporate career in August 1981 in Calcutta and amassed 42 years of work experience across various organizations. He served as the Group Government Affairs Officer at Tata Sons Private Limited, the parent company of the Tata Group. Based in New Delhi, he was responsible for managing government relations and engagements on behalf of the Tata Group.

Late Captain Rajan George – Indian Navy (Retd.)

04 October 1949 to 30 April 2013

Captain Rajan George was an armament technologist specializing in 'Torpedo and Naval Weapon Systems Design & Repair.' He supported AMBA for nine years, providing invaluable creative thinking and professionalism.

Rajan was an armament technologist in "Torpedo and Naval Weapon Systems Design & Repair". He graduated from Marshal Andrei Grechko Naval Academy, Leningrad (now St Petersburg). He held and excelled in positions of responsibility in the Navy. Rajan provided 9 years of continued support to AMBA, managing operations and administration for AMBA's core center.

Air Marshal Denzil Keelor (Retd.)

Chairman, Special Olympics Bharat

Air Marshal Denzil Keelor is a highly decorated officer who received four Presidential awards from consecutive Presidents of India.

Air Marshal Denzil Keelor received four Presidential awards from four consecutive Presidents of India: Param Vishist Seva Medal (PVSM), Kirti Chakra (KC), Ati Vishist Seva Medal (AVSM), and Vir Chakra (VrC).

Late Prof. V. Radhakrishnan

18 May 1929 to 3 March 2011

Prof. V. Radhakrishnan was a renowned space scientist and a founding father of space astronomy in India.

Affectionately referred to as Rad, he was a renowned space scientist, and a founding father of space astronomy in India. His genius and heart reached far beyond the fields of Astrophysics and Astronomy. He became a patron of the intellectually challenged from the very beginning of AMBA's journey. It is owing to his magnanimity that AMBA set up shop at his ancestral home, 'Panchavati-C.V. Raman's Residence', in Bangalore. With his zeal and infectious belief in our work, we have continued to strive towards our beliefs and goals, much like he did till the very end.

Deepak Sukrutraj

Education & Livelihood

Deepak started his journey as a sculptor; He taught ART History in Kodaikanal International School for 3 years & thereafter consciously moved into the Social Space working with young adults with intellectual disabilities/different abilities in Lund, South Sweden since 2006 where he has been teaching in the Swedish language.

Arjun Nohwar

Business Development & CSR

Arjun heads Warner Bros. Discovery across India & South Asia as the GM for the region. Prior to this, he led Uber's SaaS business across the Asia Pacific markets. Before Uber, he was part of the distinguished TAS cadre at the Tata Group for a decade where he worked across Sales, Operations and Consulting roles across a variety of Tech and non-Tech sectors.

Indriyajit Sethi

Business Development & CSR

Indriyajit Sethi works with the Tata Group, for Group Strategic Sourcing as a Vice President. He has been with the group for over 14 years. He evangelized and led the strategic Tata group aggregated buying programme managing strategic buying partnerships worth over half a billion Euros.

Shyam M Coutinho

Corporate Communication

Shyam has a Cross Sectorial experience of over 15 years with expertise in Partnerships (BD), Project Management, Marketing, Communications, and Resource Mobilization. He has worked in various MNCs and multiple start-ups like Accenture, Automed Systems, Biocon, & Genotypic Technologies.

Ira Snissar

Strategy

Ira began her career as a trainer and facilitator of youth programs at the National Debate Center in Kazakhstan, AIESEC and later at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She consults with several Citizen Sector Organizations and holds a degree in International Affairs from German-Kazakh University. She enjoys the outdoors, learning languages, dance, and martial arts.

K Ramesh

Business Development

Ramesh has 28 years of global industry experience. He started his career with Unilever and worked with them in India and in the United Kingdom for over 20 years. He led the development of Unilever’s shared services subsidiary Indigo globally, and oversaw its transition to Capgemini.

Shereen Bhan

Business & Media

Shereen Bhan is the Delhi Bureau Chief and Executive Editor of CNBC-TV18. She anchors and produces several flagship shows including Young Turks, India Business Hour, and Power Turks. She has interviewed prominent figures like Bill Gates, Richard Branson, and Benazir Bhutto.

Vishal Talreja

Vishal co-founded Dream A Dream and is its CEO. He is an Ashoka Fellow and an Eisenhower Fellow, and he sits on the Boards of Unltd India and India Cares. He is deeply committed to mentoring start-up NGOs and young social entrepreneurs.

Dr. Kalyan Banerjee

Medical Advisor

Dr. Kalyan Banerjee has been in homeopathic practice for forty years. He is the first homeopath to be awarded the Padma Shri for medicine, one of India’s highest civilian awards. He is sought out by patients from all over the world for his expertise in advanced cases of cancer and organ failure.

Indira Srinivasan

Indira is a parent of a peer trainer at the core center. She has served the Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines-Government of India, since 1976, retiring in 2014. She is an active provider of support and confidence to the intellectually challenged community. For AMBA alone, she has enabled crucial barter savings and accurate systems of audit. Her dedication to the community remains unparalleled.

Anupama Ravindra Singh

Anupama is a parent of a Peer Trainer at the Core Center. She Joined AMBA as Trustee on 05.06.2019. Since then, she started supporting the intellectually challenged community. She is a member of RMV Rotary Club and takes active participation in the events conducted by the club.

Shabita R Gowda

Shabita is a parent of Peer Trainer. She Joined AMBA as Trustee on 24.02.2018. Since then, she started supporting the intellectually challenged community. She was an active member of Rotary Club, Sadhasivanagar. She was also a member of Loins Clubs R.T Nagar. Apart from being a homemaker, presently she is a social worker.

Omana Chandrashekar

Omana is a parent of a Peer Trainer at the Core Center. She joined AMBA as Trustee on 1st April 2022 & started supporting the intellectually challenged community. She has been given the responsibility of handling AMBA Certified Partner Centers (ACPCs) in the Kerala Regions. Apart from this she is consultant, Manager- Quality Check. Omana was working as Administrative Manager in Private Firm, in Bangalore handling Account, Sales, Purchase for nearly 40 years before she joined AMBA.

Rashmi S V

Rashmi is a parent of a Peer Trainer at the Core Center. She joined AMBA as Trustee on 05.06.2019. Since then she started supporting the intellectually challenged community. She is one of the entrepreneurs of Oributti, a manufacturer of Indian traditional game boards. She conducts many workshops on forgotten Indian Traditional Games, an effort to reintroduce these to the new generation in a traditional way.
